DuraPost Composite Gravel Board

Description / Specification

A composite gravel board protects the base of the fence or panel from the ground, in the same way as a concrete base with the added bonus of being 90% lighter.  It slots / slides into the groove of the post.

Can easily be stacked on top of each other to achieve a complete composite fence panel. Reinforcement bar is recommended in the top, middle and bottom gravel board for added strength in very windy areas. This is a must if retaining soil.

The colour options of the DuraPost system and the huge variety of different timber fencing panel styles available enables customers to create their own fence design to suit their garden and taste. Gravel board maintenance is simply a case of occasionally wiping with hot soapy water

Our DuraPost Composite Gravel Board is constructed:-

• From durable PVC – does not rot, warp, crack, or corrode
• Manufactured from 88% recycled materials
• Extruded with full through colour -  not visible or detrimental if scratched during landscaping 
• Choice of 3 high UV stable colours - available Anthracite Grey, Olive Grey and Sepia Brown
• Gradual minor loss of shine over lifetime - non detrimental to the material
• Lightweight - 90% lighter than concrete, 50% lighter than timber of same dimensions
• Capping Rail on a complete panel requires a Rail Packer to allow a Rail Clip to be fixed
